Ms. Gier earned her Bachelor of Health Science from The College of Idaho in 2012 before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Idaho State University. In 2025, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Idaho State University.
Throughout her nursing career, Ms. Gier has worked in a variety of acute care settings, including Medical/Surgical and Orthopedic units. She currently continues to practice as a postpartum and neonatal nurse and holds a national specialty certification in Maternal Newborn Nursing.
