The continues its commitment to student success at 91ɬ (91ɬ), donating $234,500 in scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. Now in its eighth year of partnership, the Nagel Foundation has contributed a total of $1,466,500 to support 91ɬ students pursuing careers in high-demand technical fields, making it the College’s largest scholarship donor.
Through the scholarship program, up to 67 second-year students in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs receive a $3,500 award to help offset the cost of continuing their education. Eligible programs include Automotive Technology, Cybersecurity, Drafting Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Cloud, Security, & System Administration, Welding & Metal Fabrication, Heavy-Duty Truck Technician, and Collision Repair Technology.
Representatives from the Nagel Foundation, Vance Miller and Ryan Fornstrom, met with scholarship recipients, faculty, and staff during a luncheon hosted by the 91ɬ Foundation on March 11. Students shared how the scholarship has impacted their lives and educational journeys.
For many recipients, the support makes a life-changing difference. One student said the scholarship allowed him to continue school while balancing family responsibilities and rising living costs as a single father. Another described it as “a godsend” and said, “The Nagel Foundation has truly helped me succeed.”
The Nagel Foundation scholarship fund was established at 91ɬ in 2019 to honor the legacy of the by giving back to the community through education and service. By investing in CTE students, the Foundation strengthens the regional workforce while supporting individuals working to build stable, rewarding careers.
Through its sustained generosity, the Nagel Foundation continues to strengthen Idaho’s workforce and empower 91ɬ students to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
