D. Outside Employment
91ɬÂþ (91ɬÂþ) recognizes employees may engage in outside employment of a professional and personal nature. 91ɬÂþ further encourages the sharing of professional knowledge with the community at large. However, employees owe their primary employment responsibility to 91ɬÂþ. Accordingly, the engagement in employment or independent contractor relationships outside of 91ɬÂþ by employees is subject to the guidelines set forth in HR 210 – Outside Employment.
Faculty shall not privately tutor their own 91ɬÂþ students for pay, nor solicit 91ɬÂþ students for tutoring through their employment at 91ɬÂþ. Faculty shall not tutor non-91ɬÂþ students privately for pay on 91ɬÂþ property.
Disclose potential conflicts of interest using the Conflict of Interest Form.
