Purpose

To establish that 91ɬ (91ɬ) does not support international travel, except to Canada.

Scope

Applies to all 91ɬ employees and students, and includes internships, externships, study abroad, conferences, and continuing education. This policy also applies to non-91ɬ individuals who may be traveling on behalf of 91ɬ and utilizing funds provided by 91ɬ.

Definition

Employee: Any individual currently compensated through the 91ɬ payroll.

Student: Anyone enrolled as a student at 91ɬ. For purposes of this policy, “student” includes all student employee positions.

International travel: Travel outside of the 50 states, including travel to Puerto Rico and other U.S. Territories.

Policy

91ɬ does not support international travel, except to Canada. For travel guidelines, see ADMIN 060 – Travel & Meeting policy. The use of any college or federal funding for travel to Canada must follow strict guidelines and be fully transparent to 91ɬ’s President and constituents.
